Do not judge

Yesterday I was kind of upset with one of the volunteer. She has been very critical at others in the area they are serving the Lord.
Finally I cannot bear this silence anymore, I need to straighten her out. Deep down I know she would not change, I just can't help but stating my righteous point. For me, it doesn't end with a good feeling.

During today's devotion, when I look back at yesterday's material, wow, I cannot believe it. The passage is in Matthew 7:1-5. It said,: " Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you. Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother's eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye?..."

My first reaction is if I have read this passage yesterday, I could use this devotion material and put it in front of her face. Unfortunately, I was a day late with this devotion book.

When I drill in the passage a little longer, the passage actually speaks to me also. I need to beaware of my own attitude. I need to seek a balance and do not run into the same status as this sister in Christ.

" The law of the Lord is perfect, reviving the soul. .....The precepts of the LOrd are right, giving joy to the heart. The commands of the Lord are radiant, giving light to the eyes. The fear of the Lord is pure, enduring forever.

So Lord, forgive my hidden faults. Keep me also from wilful sins; I pray that these sins will not rule over me....May the words of my mouth and the mediation of my heart be pleasing in your sight..."

Amen

Fair or Unjusted

Yesterday we have discussion on fairness and judgement:

And I saw something else under the sun: In the place of judgment-wickedness was there,in the place of justice-wickedness was there.
I thought in my heart, "God will bring to judgment both the righteous and the wicked, for there will be a time for every activity, a time for every deed". Ecclesiastes 3:16-17

The story of Gao Kwan, a Global award winner of his own invention, a Chinese Professor of HK University in his area of work allows me to think what is fair and unfair. I bet he has been working very hard throughout the years just for this goal of success, having an award is the ultimate reward. Many people would want that pretigious moment.

In most people's eyes, it is kind of unfair that he cannot share the happiness with everyone. He has Alzemeiher. A sickness that put all his glorious works in the back burner. He only use a smiling face to cover all the lost of memory. Isn't it unfair that God would allow this sickness in him at this time???

Maybe not, because there will be a time for every activity. The time that Gao Kwan is experiencing now is a time of regularity, a time to enjoy the love and care from his wife, a time of simplicity.

For me, learning from Jesus, the Messiah, the King of Kings, has the power to judge, has the power to announce that He will restore the prisoners or exiles, came to us in a gentle way, riding on a donkey. What God teaches me is to act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with the Lord each day...What do I still have to fight for! What do I still have to work so hard to please for! What do I treasure most?

Lord, you are the one that I need to please, you are the one that I should treasure the most, teach me to be meek and not be judging with the eyes of people in the world, but with a humble heart and attitude. You said, Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth Mat 5:6 Praise be to the Lord!

Hosanna in the Highest!

Life full of Blessings from above

This is a video ppt that I made for my father's birthday party.

I enjoyed the process of looking thru' all the pictures, and of course I want to pick everyone of it. After all, my father is blessed with the support of family, friends and brothers & sisters from church. The most of all is God that gives him strength to enjoy and share.

"Therefore my heart is glad and my tongue rejoices; my body also will rest secure, because you will not abandon me to the grave, nor will you let your Holy One see decay." Psalm 16:9-10

Praise Him for He is good..........
